GoZoomies is a community-powered directory helping pet owners find hotels, cafes, parks, and services that truly welcome their pets. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Search data: Location searches and category preferences to improve recommendations.
• Partner submissions: Business name, contact details, address, and pet-friendly features when you list your space.
• Community submissions (Happy Paws): The place details and review you share, any photos you upload, and — only if you choose to provide them — your name and email. We use the email solely to notify you when your submission goes live, and we never sell or share it.
• Usage analytics: Anonymised page views and interactions to help us improve the product.
• Device & browser info: Standard web analytics data (browser type, approximate location region).

We do not collect payment information. We do not create user accounts or store passwords.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To display relevant pet-friendly places near your searched location.
• To review and approve partner listing submissions.
• To contact partners about their listings via the email provided.
• To improve search quality and user experience.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

GoZoomies uses the following third-party services:

• Google Places API — to fetch place details, ratings, and reviews. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Booking.com (via RapidAPI) — to display hotel price estimates. We do not share personal data with them.
• Supabase — our database provider, hosting partner and place data securely.
• Vercel / Render — our hosting providers for the frontend and backend.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies and browser localStorage only to cache search results locally on your device for faster repeat visits. No tracking cookies or advertising cookies are set.

6. Data Retention

Partner submission data is retained for as long as the listing is active. Search logs are anonymised and retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of any personally identifiable data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for us to contact you at any time.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of GoZoomies after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
